Profile

Paralegal
Duties: Drafts, reviews, and negotiates business contracts. Ensures consistency of contract terms with Company policies and goals. Proctors the Company’s business interests by analyzing significant business, financial, and legal risks, documenting areas of potential conflicts, developing solutions and mitigation strategies for key negotiation points, and escalating issues to management as appropriate. Partners with Sales staff to understand upcoming contract needs for new deals and renewals. Maintains a knowledge base of key laws, legal processes and/or systems, and industry practices applicable to business contracts administration. Assists and/or provides input into the formulation, development, or revision of operating policies, procedures, and strategies for Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM). Participates in continuous improvement through special projects.

Qualification and Experience

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, JD Degree preferred. Admitted to the Bar (or has paralegal certification). 2+ years of business contracts administration or equivalent experience. Excellent attention to detail and follow-through. Excellent oral and written communication skills indicative of a superior ability to interface effectively with attorneys, executives, and other internal and external stakeholders. Positive attitude and proven work ethic. Able to work independently with minimal direction. Able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. Experience working within a Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system a plus. Proficient with online meeting and web conferencing tools like GoToMeeting. Proficient with MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
