Senior Program Manager Duties: The candidate will work with the 'Love Your Local' program. Will help develop and manage a set of services to help long-standing 'Love Your Local' businesses in New York City. Report to the Director for Intensive Growth Services. Design and deliver citywide Love Your Local marketing campaign and business recruitment program. Launch and manage specialized consulting services aimed at helping businesses adapt to neighborhood and economic changes (including handling all procurement, contract management, and performance tracking). Assist with amendments of contracts and grant agreements. Launch and manage specialized grant program for businesses seeking to implement operational and/or physical changes to increase efficiency or make them more competitive in changing neighborhood. Supervise the Love your Local Program Manager. Supervise interns, including the development of intern projects and management towards project completion. Manage the execution of multiple work streams (including coordinating cross-departmental or cross-agency teams). Manage day-to-day operations for programs, including recruitment, operations, and measuring program impact. Advise on strategic initiatives to help small, neighborhood-based businesses throughout New York City.

Qualification and Experience

Qualifications: The candidate should have a Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and university and six months of full-time, satisfactory professional, technical, or administrative experience in one or more of the following fields: human rights, affirmative action planning/administration, position classification, or labor law. A law degree may be substituted for six months of experience.
A four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent approved by a State's Department of Education or a recognized accrediting organization and four years of full-time satisfactory professional, technical, or administrative experience in one or more of the fields mentioned above.
Education and/or experience equivalent to above. Should have a four year high school diploma or its educational equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications: 2 + years of professional experience, ideally in a project or program management role. Experience utilizing data to inform and measure success of projects.
