Corporate Vice President, Sales Management The candidate leads efforts with Agency’s executive team to set the strategic direction for the field sales efforts. Develops and implements marketing and sales strategy to support agents. Identifies programs and resources to help the Company achieve its various sales objectives. Monitor sales results across all product lines to map sales trends and target opportunities for improvement. Recommend solutions to deficits, e.g., sales concepts, initiatives, campaigns, incentives. Collaborates with Agency Marketing, Product Marketing for the Investment Group and various field-facing groups within Agency (e.g. Cultural Markets, Target Markets) to help agents deliver a unified “experience†to Agents for their customers and to ensure strategies are coordinated amongst various business units. Provides direction for development of “What’s Important Now†(WIN) campaigns. Approves the need for the campaign or incentive program. Oversees the development of the program, building of the tools, sales approach and key communication touchpoints to ensure alignment with Agency’s development priorities. Enables the coordination across all product markets. Directs, develops and manages staff, including providing coaching and training, setting goals, evaluating performance, planning staff assignments and development, and making and approving people management decisions (e.g. recruitment, promotions, terminations and salary changes).
Qualification and Experience
The candidate must have JD degree. Should have 5-7 years of relevant experience. Extensive experience in sales and marketing and deep knowledge of Agency is needed. Broad understanding of the Company and cross-functional knowledge for Agency and the Insurance Group is needed.
