ProfileParalegal The candidate will recover/liquidate accounts of deceased account owners. Will work with the individuals from the Account Executive team and Research team to recover the asset. Will be responsible for driving the recovery process to ensure that the funds are properly recovered and properly distributed to the legal claimants. Prepare liquidation documents to send to legal claimants. Preparing authorizations to obtain birth, death, and marriage certificates. Prepare waiver of probate bond applications, etc. Receiving and reviewing (for quality control) all documents returned by the legal claimants and vital record offices and forwarding the same to the asset holder for liquidation. Recover the funds from the asset holder. Drive the payout process to legal claimants with the assistance of the finance department.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate must have Bachelor’s Degree, or the equivalent of education and experience. Should have 1-3 years experience in customer service or inside sales, or similar relevant experience in a customer facing role. Legal background, estate administration required. Experience in the financial services industry a plus. Must have excellent verbal communication skills. Should have strong process and organization skills.
