A law firm in Santa Ana is seeking a Business Litigation Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of litigation experience. The ideal candidate must have experience with written discovery and depositions, drafting pleadings and substantive motions, attending mediations and court appearances, and assisting at trial. Additionally, they should have a strong academic record, excellent research and writing skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Duties:

• Handle all aspects of business litigation cases, including written discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediations, court appearances, and trial preparation.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research on complex legal issues.
• Assist in trial preparation, including preparing witnesses and exhibits.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders.
• Collaborate with partners, associates, and support staff to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
• Manage case files and deadlines effectively.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of litigation experience.
• Experience with written discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation.
• Strong academic record.
• Excellent research and writing skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Active licensure in California, in good standing with the State Bar.

Education:

Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

Active licensure in California, in good standing with the State Bar.
