A law firm seeks a collaborative Tax Associate to join its practice in Southfield. This role is perfect for an attorney with a minimum of three years of experience in tax law, specifically focusing on partnership taxation, operating agreements, and mergers and acquisitions (M&A).
Duties
- Provide expert legal advice on tax matters, with an emphasis on partnership taxation and related structures.
- Assist in drafting and reviewing operating agreements and other related documents.
- Support clients through the M&A process, ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.
- Conduct thorough legal research to address complex tax issues and develop strategies for clients.
- Collaborate with colleagues to deliver comprehensive tax solutions tailored to client needs.
- Maintain strong communication with clients, keeping them informed of developments and providing exceptional service.
Requirements
- Minimum of three years of experience practicing tax law.
- Strong background in partnership tax, operating agreements, and M&A transactions.

Education
