The candidate will organize and track case files. Manage legal forms and documents. Must be proficient in Excel and word. Paralegal certificate required. Knowledge of basic civil litigation preferred. Read and comprehend credit reports, bankruptcy documentation, and debtor correspondences preferred. Knowledge of civil procedure, including post-judgment remedies, preferred. Essential Duties include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Marginal Duties include the following. Other duties may be assigned. High school diploma. Preferred: Bachelors or Paralegal Certificate required. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence required. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, SOP Standard Operating Procedures and procedure manuals required. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals required. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations required. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
