The ideal candidate is expected to bring a portable book of business exceeding $300,000, with rates surpassing $500 per hour. This role presents a unique opportunity for an experienced attorney to contribute to significant commercial litigation cases within a dynamic legal environment.

Duties:

• Provide expert legal counsel and representation to clients in commercial litigation matters, including contract disputes, business torts, and complex commercial cases.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies and provide informed recommendations.
• Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.
• Represent clients in negotiations, mediation, and court proceedings related to commercial litigation.
• Manage all aspects of the litigation process, from case initiation through resolution.
• Collaborate with colleagues and clients to develop effective case strategies and ensure client satisfaction.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an attorney, specializing in commercial litigation.
• Proven track record of cultivating and maintaining a portable book of business exceeding $300,000.
• Admission to the New York State Bar.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the New York State Bar.
