Job Title: Plaintiff's Personal Injury Attorney

Job Overview:
A well-established law firm is seeking a skilled Plaintiff’s Personal Injury Attorney to join their team in New York City. This role will involve managing complex personal injury cases, including those related to Labor Law sections 200, 240, and 241(6). The successful candidate will have experience in litigation, from case investigation through trial, and will demonstrate a commitment to providing exceptional legal services to clients. Fluency in Spanish is a plus to support the firm's largely Hispanic clientele.

Duties:

• Manage personal injury cases through all phases of litigation, from initial investigation to trial.
• Conduct comprehensive legal research, prepare motions, and represent clients in court proceedings.
• Advise clients on Labor Law, premises liability, and motor vehicle accident claims.
• Negotiate on behalf of clients to secure favorable settlements.
• Draft and argue motions, including motions for summary judgment.
• Maintain detailed and accurate client files and records.
• Supervise and mentor paralegals and administrative staff.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in the New York Bar.
• Proven experience in personal injury law, particularly in Labor Law, premises liability, and motor vehicle accidents.
• Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team to achieve optimal client outcomes.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in the New York State Bar.

Skills:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in drafting legal documents and motions.
• Excellent negotiation abilities.
• Ability to effectively manage and prioritize cases.
• Bilingual (Spanish) is preferred
