ProfileAssistant Attorney General The candidate will serve as an Assistant Attorney General to the Maryland State Police. Will manage responsibilities include litigation in federal and state courts, along with advice, counsel, and support to all bureaus of the Department, on a variety of matters including police operations, constitutional law, employment law, forensic sciences, criminal discovery, Public Information Act, procurement, etc. Should have 7+ years of civil litigation experience, including jury trial experience, as well as strong writing and oral advocacy skills. Experience providing advice to a government agency is also preferred. Maryland and Federal Bar (District of Maryland) membership is required. Deadline: August 15, 2018.
