Do you have extensive experience drafting sophisticated declarations, Memorandum of Points and Authorities, and preparing for trial? Can you successfully manage multiple in-house and statutory deadlines? Are you comfortable working with parents who are struggling with anxiety, PTSD, and overwhelming fear? Are you adept at working with court clerks, attorney services, process servers, and court reporters? $61,000 or commensurate with experience Compensation: $61,000 Responsibilities: Organize and maintain physical and electronic litigation and administrative files Participate in selecting and adopting new software applications Work closely with Owner/Managing Partner, Associates, and clients on a daily basis Prepare legal documents for meetings, depositions, and court appearances Accurately enter billable and non-billable time into Clio Manage in real-time Draft Judicial Council forms, declarations, and Memorandum of Points and Authorities Compile exhibits and trial notebooks, including Bates stamps Help attorneys prepare for hearings and trials Propound and respond to discovery demands Manage and calendar deadlines Triage client communications and follow up via phone and email as required Maintain accurate, up-to-date client records in our case management system, Clio Manage Qualifications: We will train you on how we operate within our firm, but you must have advanced family law knowledge and experience as a Family Law Paralegal so you can hit the ground running.
