Duties
- Provide legal advice and representation in various employment law matters, including workplace disputes, compliance issues, and employee relations.
- Advise clients on workplace policies, employee rights, terminations, discrimination, and harassment cases.
- Draft and review employment contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
- Represent clients in negotiations, mediation, and, if necessary, court proceedings.
- Stay current with employment law regulations and legal trends to offer up-to-date advice.
- Manage a caseload efficiently while maintaining high standards of legal work and client service.
- Collaborate with other legal professionals and staff to deliver comprehensive solutions to clients.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of experience practicing employment law, with a proven record of handling complex matters.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state employment law, including labor regulations and employee rights.
- Experience in advising both employers and employees, handling negotiations, and resolving disputes.
- Ability to work independently while also thriving in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients and colleagues.
Education
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Certifications
- Admission to the New Hampshire State Bar (required).
