International Trade Paralegal The candidate assists attorneys with preparing filings for anti-dumping and countervailing duty investigations, including preparing charts reflecting the status of the various investigations. Monitors and assists with briefs on appeal to courts and international tribunals. Reviews customs electronic bulletin boards and databases for new rulings involving trade. Investigates facts of cases and prepares summaries and memos concerning the data. Organizes and maintains document form files and client files. Researches and analyzes law sources such as cases, statutes, legal articles, regulations and public records. Four year college degree, university program degree or legal assistant certificate is desirable. Should have 2+ years of relevant experience in anti-dumping and countervailing duty case filings at the U.S. Department of Commerce. Excellent organizational and analytical skills are needed. Experience with legal research systems and the ability to use Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office software, including Word and Excel is needed.
