Immigration Legal Assistant The candidate will assist attorneys in preparing for hearings and removal/deportation court proceedings. Will be responsible for drafting and preparing legal correspondence, client declarations, and other documents, and preparing I-130, U-visa, I-485, DS-260, and other agency filings. Responsible for staying up-to-date on EOIR and USCIS practices and filing instructions. Manage all incoming and outgoing correspondence for his/her assigned cases and workspace. Must be bilingual, English/Spanish, with strong written and verbal communication skills in both languages. Must have excellent attention to detail and the ability to organize and manage a large case load. Must work well with clients and be able to handle confidential information with professionalism. Must be a team player and be willing to go the extra mile for clients and staff. Experience with Cerenade/eImmigration is a plus.
