Real Estate Paralegal The candidate will support the local Real Estate Practitioners and the national Real Estate Practice Group. Will assist in the preparation of real estate loan, purchase, sale, loan servicing and ancillary related documents including purchase and sale agreements, conveyance documents, easements, security instruments, notes, guaranties and general agreements. Prepare for and support real estate related closings including obtaining required documents, preparing documents to be executed and confirming contents of appropriate closing checklists. Perfect and record formalities and requirements associated with real estate related matters. Interface with firm clients and other outside entities regarding assigned matters. Work on special assignments that may require conducting routine fact or legal research, prepare reports and handle associated filings. Perform other duties as may be assigned to fully meet the requirements, billable and performance based, of the position. Bachelor's degree or Associates degree and Paralegal certificate are required. Must have 5-7 years of commercial real estate experience, preferably in a law firm setting, an in-house legal department or title company. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) is essential.
