Staff Operations and Training Specialist GS 9 Duties: The candidate managers on the budget formulation process. Produce various training circulars, master training schedules, inspections and test results, and other publications to determine what unit and individual training necessary or required Review unit training status and advises of changes necessary or directed in training goals and procedures. Provide technical advice and guidance to staff sections regarding setting up operational plans and programs.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: The candidate should have 1+ year of specialized experience which includes monitoring unit budgets, reviewing master training schedules, ensuring that units comply with training and operations directives and procedures. Review unit training statuses and advise of necessary training. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07).
Must have master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D. degreein a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as Business Administration.
Must have combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements. Deadline: 189 April, 2018
