Legal Affairs Law Internship, Fall 2018 Interns will be working with the Division of Legal Affairs (DLA) will work under the supervision of an attorney on tasks that may include reviewing and analyzing legislation and regulations; participating in the drafting of litigation documents; assisting in legal research on assigned matters for use in the preparation of correspondence and legal opinions; participating in the writing and reviewing of contracts and Requests for Proposals (RFPs); assisting in compliance with Freedom of Information Law (FOIL) requests; research on labor employment issues; drafting and implementing litigation holds; electronic discovery support; support for the development and update of information security, privacy, confidentiality and compliance policies and procedures to meet agency legal obligations; and performing such other functions as required by the needs of the office. Skills must include: Multi-Task, attentive to detail. Solid writing skills. Good time management skills. Preferred Standing 2nd Year Law Student. Minimum Standing: 1st Year Law Student. Degree Concentrations: Legal Studies. Schedule: 10 hours per week Deadline: September 10, 2018
