Staff Attorney The candidate will act as counsel and provide legal services to firm. Will litigate in state and federal courts as well as administrative agencies and provide legal advice to firm's and other clients. In addition, as appropriate, assist with legislative advocacy, act as a liaison to outside pro bono counsel, law clerks, concerned citizens and other advocacy organizations, work with the Legal Committee of firm's Board, and provide assistance to firm's Chief Legal Officer. Should have J.D. degree and license to practice law. (Admission to MN bar or ability to take February 2019 exam required.). Must have 2+ years of legal experience. Background and experience in energy law preferred. Must have experience in litigation. Must have excellent writing and analytic skills. Must have commitment to public interest environmental advocacy and environmental justice. Must have commitment to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace and culture that values differences.
