Job Overview:
A leading law firm is seeking an Attorney Specialist to join its Asset Management and Investment Funds (AMIF) practice group. This role offers an opportunity for attorneys interested in a non-partnership track to support registered fund attorneys in mutual fund and ETF fund filings, new fund launches, and compliance with the 1940 Act. The ideal candidate will have 5–10 years of direct experience and a commitment to excelling in a collaborative legal environment.
Location:
Duties:
- Assist with mutual fund and ETF filings, including new fund launches.
- Review and update mutual fund registration statements and shareholder reports.
- Prepare and review mutual fund board materials.
- Conduct research on legal matters arising under the 1940 Act.
- Collaborate with partners and associates to manage significant client relationships.
- Contribute to the growth and development of the Asset Management and Investment Funds practice.
Requirements:
- 5–10 years of experience in asset management, investment funds, or related legal fields.
- Strong legal research, drafting, and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality client service.
Education:
- Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
Certifications:
- Admitted to practice law in a . jurisdiction.
Skills:
