Senior Marketing and Business Development Coordinator
The candidate will support the Marketing and Business Development Manager on cross-selling opportunities within existing office clients and other firm clients. Participate in the development and implementation of strategic plans and budgets. Provide support on other strategic business development and promotional initiatives. Help evaluate office strengths and conduct research on existing and prospective clients, competitor activity, and market trends to aid in the development of marketing plans, pitches, presentations, and proposals. Read industry, legal, and business publications to remain aware of trends that may impact the office practice areas and to identify promotional opportunities. Create initiatives to build profile for the office by publicizing victories, news items, events, and relevant articles. Assist in the creation and regular updates of web and print marketing collateral, including brochures, office descriptions, and deal/case lists. Assist in the development and production of internal announcements, client newsletters, clients alerts and regularly evaluate the need for these types of communications. Oversee inventory of brochures, reprints, and other collateral relevant to the office and for general marketing purposes. Support the production and management of seminars, receptions, webinars and other marketing-oriented and client-facing activities, including mailing list creation, event promotion, development of invitations and other client communications, concept development, and vendor selection. Drafting, proofing and production of electronic/interactive/print pitches, proposals, and other marketing collateral used in the pursuit of new business. Drafting, coordination, and oversight of office- specific awards and rankings submissions. Coordinate profile and directory submissions for organizations/publications of which the office is a member or sponsor.

Qualification and Experience

The candidate should have BS or BA degree or equivalent.Should have 5+ years’ of experience of marketing in a professional services industry, communications, business development or related field. Excellent writing and presentation skills and a high level of attention to detail in all work products are needed. Excellent research skills is asset. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is needed. Experience in InDesign, iPublish and Inter-Action is desirable.
