Candidate will manage cases from A-Z, and must be very proactive with regards to case management. Independent case management including document organization, discovery and database management, trial preparation, calendaring/docketing and familiarity with federal and state court rules/procedures. Entrusted with significant case management responsibilities and work as an integral part of trial teams. Provide important support to the trial team in efficient and cost-effective management of cases. Mastered the Microsoft Office suite and other specialized software programs to efficiently and cooperatively support attorneys and paralegals in trial-team efforts. Significant responsibility for supporting the legal teams and making sure the firm runs efficiently and effectively.

Qualification and Experience

Qualifications: 4 year degree, and a paralegal certificate is preferred; 5-7 years of experience managing all phases of complex litigation including going to trial; Strong Communication & Analytical Skills; Excellent Written Skills; High Attention to Detail, and Ability to multitask and switch between tasks easily. Competence with Microsoft Office suite of products is essential. Prior experience with databases’ like Summation, Eclipse, or Relativity is preferred. Experience with large volume defense litigation cases is preferred.

I want to suggest hiring inside the firm before hiring someone outside of it. There are many staff members that are looking to rise in the firm and can't do that if the firm is looking at people outside to hire in.

Pros : The benefits of working at this firm are fantastic. They pay the staff reasonably and offer impressive bonuses. I have never had any issues with them and having to struggle to maintain a work/life balance. The firm is really good with valuing staff and their lives outside of work.
Cons : With the great things, the worst is how hard it is to move up in the firm. The firm doesn't really promote people into positions. Once you get on here, the spot you are hired at is probably going to be the only one you work in.
