Paralegal Assistant Duties: Answering and directing phone calls; making phone calls; organizing and scheduling appointments and meetings; handling inquiries and incoming work requests; reviewing files and records to answer requests for information; checking and distributing documents and correspondence; maintaining filing systems â€“ Digital and Paper; maintaining Upper Management's time sheets; photocopying, scanning and faxing; sending emails; preparing and sending outgoing mailings and packages; and checking and entering data; monitoring and ordering inventory of office supplies.
Qualification and Experience
Candidate must have: High school or equivalent required. Previous experience in law firm, engineering firm, accounting firm, etc. Knowledge of relevant software applications including MS Office, Word, Excel & Outlook; proficient in use of email and internet; good numeracy skills; accurate keyboard skills; knowledge of administrative procedures; high school diploma or equivalent; organizational and planning; time management skills and the ability to prioritize work; data management; attention to detail and accuracy; problem-solving; adaptability; customer service orientation; team work; communication skills - verbal and written; confidentiality; and typing documents and correspondence (40 wpm).
