Intellectual Property Paralegal Duties: Supporting the IP Team in all administrative and formality patent matters. Handling and processing of national and international patent applications. Obtaining and timely filing of all formality documents according to the national patent jurisdictions. Patent Data Management. Creating electronic filing records - Patent Data Base/Electronic Records Management. Collecting and categorising in-coming mails. Daily docketing and ensuring data consistency. Independently correspond with our clients and patent agents. Ensuring correct operation of the overall renewals process. General administrative/assistant duties. Filing national and international patent applications; managing the patent portfolio and ensuring efficient and effective operation of all related processes. Ensuring best practices are in place and that processes and procedures are implemented to meet the global IP business requirements. Assume overall responsibility for the daily management and performance of cases undertaken on behalf of international clients.

Qualification and Experience

Requirements: Bachelor degree will be highly valuable. 2 years’ experience as a Patent Paralegal. Excellent spoken and written skills in English. Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office. Strong organizational skills and attention to details. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with persons of many different nationalities and cultures. Must be proactive, self-disciplined and able to work independently and in a team.
