Counsel The candidate will be managing significant litigation matters in high-profile industry generating interesting legal work. Will provide day-to-day legal support, and serve as a legal advisor to the Company on a variety of litigation matters, including general commercial litigation, consumer litigation (individual and class action), FOIA matters, and arbitrations, among other types of litigation. Will work on third party subpoenas and handle pre-litigation disputes, in addition to managing a portfolio of active litigation matters. Will handle multiple cases at a time and partner with business units and outside counsel to prepare case strategies. Will be a part of the Litigation team at CVS Health that oversees litigation matters, including, arbitrations, government agency investigations, and commercial disputes. Counsel will develop, refine, and implement appropriate legal strategy for discovery, motion practice, and trial/hearing/settlement of cases or matters. Should preferably have 5+ years litigation experience, preferably health care litigation and some in-house litigation experience. Should have ability to manage outside counsel to achieve cost-effective results for the company. Should have ability to communicate complex issues clearly and concisely and work effectively and cooperatively on projects with business executives and other lawyers. Should have superior writing skills. Should have J.D. from ABA accredited law school. Legal/License to Practice Law is desired.
