Senior Legal Advisor, GS-13 to GS-15 Duties : Providing legal advice to OEEO Counselor/Investigators on substantive and procedural issues arising in the counseling, investigation, settlement, and mediation of EEO complaints against the Agency. Drafting and editing documents issued in the administrative EEO complaint process (including Reports of Investigation, Final Agency Decisions, and appellate briefs to the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission); corresponding with the EEOC and outside legal representatives. Advising Management on a variety of diversity and inclusion issues. Facilitating training for supervisors, employees, and OEEO staff. Advising on the implementation of civil rights/EEO laws in CIA-wide programs and regulations and supervising the OEEO Legal Staff.

Qualification and Experience

Qualification : The candidate must have 5+ years of legal experience, and the ability to provide legal advice regarding compliance with Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Rehabilitation Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act Amendments Act, the Genetic Information Nondiscrimination Act, and all other applicable civil rights/EEO laws, and Executive Orders. Graduation from an ABA-accredited law school and active Bar membership from any of the 50 states, District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, or the US Virgin Islands are required.
