Mid-Level Employee Benefits/Executive Compensation Associate Labor & Employment Candidate will be addressing the complex needs of companies and funds relating to acquisitions and divestitures, advising and negotiating on the design and implementation of equity and equity based compensation programs, and counseling clients on all areas of ERISA and executive compensation programs (including employment agreements, non-competition agreements and related documents).

Qualification and Experience

Candidate must have experience in the employee benefits and executive compensation aspects of mergers and acquisitions (including experience under Code Sections 409A and 280G and with equity compensation programs), some experience in counseling clients on qualified retirement plans and, ideally, welfare benefit plans, and an overall understanding and grasp of ERISA (including some Title I counseling). Experience with employment and labor counseling or the employment aspects of mergers and acquisitions is a plus. 2+ years of work experience with a law firm is preferred. Must currently be licensed, or currently eligible to become licensed, to practice law in the jurisdiction in which they are applying to work.
