Duties:
- Represent clients in a broad spectrum of commercial matters, including case management, legal research, and document drafting
- Attend court appearances and depositions, while managing client communications and relationships
- Oversee all aspects of discovery, ensuring the timely and effective gathering of necessary materials
- Perform legal research and draft clear, concise legal memoranda and other documents
- Provide counsel to clients on high-stakes business and corporate matters
- Collaborate with a team of experienced litigators to prepare for trial, arbitration, or settlement
Requirements:
- JD from an accredited law school
- Admission to practice law in New York
- Several years of litigation experience, with a focus on both courtroom and pre-trial activities
- Experience in taking and defending depositions, legal research, and writing
- Proven ability to handle oral arguments in court
- High level of attention to detail, professional judgment, and excellent communication skills
Education:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
