Associate General Counsel, Compliance Programs Responsibilities: Advise on and drive development, improvement, and maintenance of third-party risk management controls and associated processes, policies, and documents. Provide compliance expertise and collaborate closely with cross-functional partners to oversee run-state third-party risk management processes aimed at mitigating risks related to privacy, data security, political activities, trade compliance, anti-bribery & corruption across all of the Company's businesses and geographies. Prepare internal stakeholders for and lead engagements with internal testing and monitoring functions and external assessors examining the sufficiency of compliance program design and operationalization. Drive compliance program remedial efforts identified as a result of internal and external program examination. Undertake special projects and support other compliance program initiatives, as needed.
Qualification and Experience
Minimum Qualifications: J.D. Degree (or foreign equivalent) and membership in at least one US State Bar. 8+ years of experience as a practicing attorney, including 2+ years of experience in a compliance-related consultancy or legal practice. Experience providing programmatic legal and compliance guidance across a variety of legal issues and risk areas (e.g., privacy, anti-corruption, political activities, trade) to business stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications: In-house experience at the internet, technology, or telecommunications companies, or experience working for a regulatory agency whose remit is relevant to the Company’s compliance efforts. Experience with third-party risk management programs. Experience and comfort working with data, including to measure program performance and effectiveness, inform priorities and deliver insights to stakeholders. Experience working with or in support of diverse communities. Experience delivering practical advice under pressure and prioritizing work. Experience collaborating with teams to solve problems.
