Managing Director – National Head
The candidate will sit on the Executive Management Committee of the firm and be responsible for the legal P&L at Firms Law and participate in profit-sharing. Should have Juris Doctorate Degree (JD) from an accredited law school. Must have 15 years of relevant corporate and business legal experience. Large firm experience is required. Existing book of business of $500k or more a plus. 10-15 years or more experience in Corporate Law is required. Experience working with emerging enterprises and mid-market companies, including general corporate work, governance and compliance matters is needed. Experience drafting, negotiating and reviewing commercial contracts is required. Should have broad experience in aspects of mergers and acquisitions, including drafting and negotiating acquisition agreements and ancillary documents, and otherwise managing and closing transactions. Experience making a value proposition to customers, getting buy-in, agreement on strategy, before proceeding with work is needed. Experience in Quality Assurance and Control is required. Experience managing a team of knowledgeable professionals a plus.
