Senior Corporate Counsel, Employment The candidate will works directly with the Deputy General Counsel, Labor & Employment, Human Resources Department associates and Company management on human resources legal matters, across the US, including: Provide daily counseling on employment-related issues, including recruitment and hiring, compensation and benefits, accommodation requests, leaves of absence, investigations, performance reviews, disciplinary warnings, terminations, workplace safety, immigration, and international assignments; Assist with the drafting of employment, separation, non-competition, confidentiality, and consulting agreements; Provide consultation to others regarding reorganizations and reductions in force, consistent with company policies; Provide training for HR and management on employment-related issues; and Advise on employee benefits matters. Litigation and Investigations: Assist with investigations and litigation, across the US, including: Respond to calls made to the company hotline including reviewing, updating, and resolving reports received; Assist in conducting confidential investigations of issues including employee relations, and protection of confidential information and company assets; and Handle employment litigation, arbitrations, and agency related matters including discovery management.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have JD degree from US law school. Should have 5-10 years of significant experience in employment law/compliance field working directly with companies. Experience counseling clients on employment compliance matters. Experience creating and conducting training modules and formulating policies. Experience in multi-jurisdictional employment matters preferred. Labor experience is preferred.
