Attorney The candidate will be supporting preparation, negotiation and implementation of Subcontracts and Purchase Orders, including preparing standard forms with EPC flow downs for project execution teams. Will be assisting/advising in preparation and negotiation of Change Orders, Extensions of Time and Claims raised by Clients, Vendors, Subcontractors and CB&I. Reviewing and negotiating Secrecy Agreements and Interoffice Agreements. Reviewing Proposals / ITBâ€™s, preparing contract deviations and managing negotiations for new opportunities (which includes reviewing EPC Contracts terms and conditions, pricing/payment schedules, scope of work, project procedures and execution schedules on lump sum, unit rate and reimbursable contract models) for small to medium sized projects. Advising on EPC Projects in varying jurisdictions and working with and understanding foreign governing/applicable law, including facilitating, understanding and applying specialized legal advice from such jurisdictions. Ensuring project contracts are consistent with the CB&I project objectives and CB&I policies while avoiding onerous liabilities. Coordinating project reviews by insurance experts. Advising on and review of financial instruments (e.g., letters of credit, bank guarantees) and project finance documentation. Participating in management review meetings and advising on and review of Parent Company Guarantees and advise on corporate house-keeping matters like setting up or close out of offices/entities. Should have JD degree or equivalent. 1-3 years industry experience is required. Proficiency in English is necessary. Should have understanding of EPFC contracting preferably in the Oil and Gas sector. Excellent written and verbal communication skill is essential.
