Paralegal
The candidate will be providing a proactive paralegal service supporting the Interconnect Legal team; managing the Directors & Officers process for all Interconnect entities; drafting resolutions and circulating for signature; ensuring that registration and renewal requirements for corporate entities are kept up-to-date; managing and overseeing the incorporation and liquidation of corporate entities; maintaining electronic and paper minute books and corporate seals; reviewing Interconnect Policies and advising on requirements and amendment; updating the Interconnect contracts database and internal corporate records sheets and databases; assisting with patent and trademark prosecution events in coordination with outside counsel; administering patent annuities; reviewing for quality control, sales representative and distributor agreements and maintain agreement inventory; providing support with the Interconnect Legal intranet site; communicating with Group regarding corporate issues; preparing Instructions to outside counsel and other external vendors; operation and day-to-day management of outside counsel and vendors, including review of bills; assisting in drafting and reviewing and amending materials and documents; preparing and circulating legal updates for internal communications.

Qualification and Experience

The candidate should have B.A. or B.S.; accredited paralegal certification; Previous paralegal experience of 8+ years' experience; experience of corporate and company law required - experience of intellectual property would be beneficial; strong appreciation of business processes and risks; high levels of concentration, accuracy and attention to detail; a careful and methodical approach and the ability to cope with repetitive tasks; experience of working in a fast-paced professional services environment; ability to prioritize workload effectively; excellent communication skills and the ability to deal with people at all levels; ability to take responsibility and demonstrate initiative when the situation arises; a high standard of oral and written English (especially grammar and spelling); computer skills - expert proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
