ProfileCommercial Agreement Specialist The candidate will facilitate pre-and post-transactional contract and document support for the commercial electricity retail team and ensure consistency in the contracting process across the retail sales organization. Will maintain standard and negotiated templates in the Retail contract generation system. Coordinate resolution of contract and document compliance with legal department as necessary. Process and administer 3rd party (broker) contracts. Provide back-up transactional deal set up support/sales support as needed. Support retail business regulatory compliance by assisting with preparation of audits and reports or provision of information as requested by sales, legal and regulatory departments. Assist with preparation of redlines. Serve as point of control in processing adds/deletes and any other contractually allowed changes and terminations. Coordinate creation of complex transaction confirmations or contract addendums. Manage smooth internal contract routing and recording process. Participate in special projects to improve operations, increase customer satisfaction and retention rates, and contribute to profitability. Accurately monitor and report on the Retail alternative/renewable energy position covering state/federal requirements and customer voluntary commitments. Mitigate risk and optimize the P&L impact of the Retail alternative/renewable energy position. Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related degree or at least five years of industry experience. Should have 2+ years of experience as sales support or analyst processing electricity retail transactions in deregulated markets. Should have 3+ years ofin alternative/renewable energy position management or trading. Thorough understanding of electricity retail sales processes and related policies and procedures is required. Solid understanding of contracting and transactions in the wholesale and retail energy markets is needed. Ability to communicate professionally and succinctly via e-mail, on the phone or in person is required. Should have proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Must have experience working with one or more customer relationship management systems, preferably Salesforce.com. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written is required. Must have proficiency in SalesForce. Paralegal professional degree or work experience. Direct work experience in electricity retail contract management is required. Should have knowledge of the US electricity deregulated markets.
