Counsel, Commercial Transactions, Video And Production The candidate responsibilities will include: Structure, draft and negotiate agreements for scripted and unscripted audiovisual programming, including production services agreements, content license agreements and above-the-line talent agreements (e.g., on-camera talent, executive producer, writer, and director agreements). Provide day-to-day legal services in connection with the production of audiovisual content, including providing general legal advice in connection with production risk, negotiating standard production forms and releases, conducting pre-broadcast review in connection with scripts, treatments and video content, and providing rights and clearance guidance. Must have J.D. degree and membership in at least one U.S. state Bar. Should have 3+ years of transactional legal experience at a global law firm and/or in-house at a network, studio, production company, internet or technology company, with at least 4 years focused on a transactional television or premium new media entertainment practice. Experience working with entertainment guilds (e.g., SAG-AFTRA, DGA, WGA, IATSE) required. Experience working cross-functionally with other business units and legal department members preferred. Experience providing counseling to internet companies with video products and services offered to consumers desired. Experience with social networking and platform integrations preferred. International legal experience a plus.
