Manager - Facilities Contract Services The candidate will direct the negotiation of national/regional service contracts for retail stores, surplus properties and Corporate facilities, coordinate the execution of new contracts, review and analyze existing contracts for compliance and make recommendations to resolve disputes within a contract’s terms. Negotiate and settle outstanding landlord repair and contract maintenance issues as required. Interact with the Legal department for default notification and unresolved matters. Develop fiscal plan for and direct performance of maintenance service contracts for retail stores, surplus properties and Corporate facilities. Responsible for and supervise research of contracts currently in effect for stores with regards to third party injury claims and ensure the collection of claim reimbursements. Responsible for and supervise work documentation and tracking repair costs incurred by Rite Aid Corporation when a landlord is unresponsive; collect reimbursement from landlords for repairs and damages. Review and interpret the Property Information Management Systems (PIMS), REM, leases, and subleases, contracts and other documents to advise on for maintenance, repairs, replacement insurance and liability responsibility. Responsible for plan development and to supervise surplus property for compliance, protection, maintenance and repairs for the Real Estate Operations division. Manage Violation Platform and Monthly Reporting. Expedite OSHA violations to Risk Management. Advise on departmental policies, procedures and data systems. Perform special projects as needed. Should preferably have 5+ years of experience in Real Estate Law. Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in a related field as well as a Juris Doctorate preferred.
