Litigation Paralegal The candidate will be responsible for (among other things): Coordinate, assemble and prepare (or assist with preparation of) documents related to litigation, and other matters, including discovery, requests for information, position statements, depositions, etc. Review and handle subpoenas and service of process. Conduct legal and factual research in support of legal matters. Monitor court filings and other legal requirements. Prepare or assist in the preparation of various filings and documents. Draft correspondence, memoranda and other documents. Assist with review and analysis of legal matters. Resolve or assist in the resolution of complaints or claims, including analysis of issues, investigation, research and communications related to the same. Assist with special projects, including all phases of litigation. Prepare document files, maintain records and databases, and prepare reports. MUst possess good analytical and writing skills, including the ability to determine legal requirements, investigate and analyze facts, determine materiality, perform research, and draft memos. Candidate will also have the ability to apply analytical skills and knowledge of legal concepts. Preferred Bachelor’s Degree with prior Litigation Experience.
