ProfileManager of Compliance Programs and Research The candidate manages enterprise wide compliance programs to ensure that firm leadership team, physicians, employees, and vendors are in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and policies. Maintains compliance program tracking and reporting throughout at all levels of the enterprise. Manage day-to-day operation of the compliance program. Continually improve a centralized system for documentation of compliance programs, including the annual work plan, incident investigations management, corrective actions, and other record retention. Understand enterprise wide cross-systems data, and prepare reports on a regular basis to keep the firm Compliance Program Directors, Compliance Committee, senior leadership, and the Board of Directors informed of the operation and progress of compliance efforts. Oversee the compliance training programs on a day-to-day basis, ensuring timely completion of onboarding and periodic training and education by the workforce. Lead the compliance team and inter-department projects and meetings in a collaborative and facilitative manner, ensuring goals of common stakeholders are met. Manage projects to monitor and audit the performance of the Compliance Program and related activities on a continuing basis. Identify compliance vulnerabilities and risks, and ensure that responses to reported concerns, alleged violations of and law, and/or conflicts of interest are timely, appropriate, and consistent. Develop expertise and perform research in compliance subjects and issues as requested. Research and author educational materials. Investigate incidents, document findings, oversee completion of corrective actions plans. Coordinate and assist with the firm Compliance and Ethics Committee meetings. Oversee projects performed by the Compliance Specialist. Assist in periodic reviews and revisions of the Compliance policies and procedures. Act as a steward of the Compliance Program by exhibiting sound ethical standards, and consistently promoting a compliant culture.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate must have Bachelor’s degree. Should have 4-6 years of independent program or complex project management experience in a healthcare compliance or legal department or equivalent field. Law degree, paralegal certificate, and/or CHC certificate is preferred. Track record of successfully managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced, collaborative cross-functional environment is required. Demonstrated ability to research and analyze complex information such as billing data, enterprise compliance incident data, and performance data, and author senior-level reports for presentation to management and executives is needed. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) is required; Incident tracking warehouse and learning management system (LMS) proficiency is preferred.
