Special Assistant Attorney General The candidate will pursue the Attorney General's environmental agenda by challenging the dismantling of federal statutes and regulations designed to limit pollution and toxic substances, promote clean energy, and address climate change. Responsibilities include: evaluating potential and pending litigation, developing legal arguments and strategies, and collaborating with stakeholders to advance these efforts. Position responsibilities also include: litigation before state, federal, and appellate courts, as well as administrative agencies. Will work out of the Maryland Office of the Attorney General's central office in Baltimore. Should have 5+ years of legal experience and excellent research and writing skills. Should have a demonstrated working knowledge of legal issues related to environmental compliance and energy policy.
