Senior Trailing Document Research Specialist The candidate will report directly to the Senior Trailing Document Operations Manager and responsibilities will include the following: Monitor all documents that come into the shared inbox and box.com and respond to the customerâ€™s inquiries about docs that have been sent/received, have been processed, or that still need to be processed. Work with FC/RC and shared inbox processors to ensure all customer inquiries are handled timely and professionally. Work critical documents that are top priority including documents that have been escalated to management due to processing errors, impending certifications, or any other docs that are deemed high priority. Answer any questions on documents from the TD team, and anything that needs clarification on will be escalated to trailing doc manager. Research items that come in from customers or other departments and reply in a professional manner to the sender and copy TD managers on all communications. Pull files if needed to verify that documents have been processed or to verify/clear exceptions. Any communication to the customer in regards to complaints or escalations will be handled by TRM management. Jump in and help where needed with documents (Agency, Private, or CMBS) to help ensure they get to and stay in standard. Research all documents that are rejected from the vault for various reasons. Assist with any projects that TRM management or other groups need assistance with.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience. Must have 5+ years of corporate trust, mortgage, or paralegal experience. Thorough knowledge of departmental operations is preferred. Ability to identify and resolve complex problems and to interpret data is desired. Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills are preferred. Should have superior customer service/relations skills. Must have proficient computer skills, especially Microsoft Office applications.
