Intellectual Property Corporate Counsel The candidate will assist on management of customs-level actions in multiple jurisdictions, including the U.S., Latin America, and Europe. Will review of firm's products for authentication purposes. Leading IP enforcement-related investigations across multiple jurisdictions. Digital brand enforcement activities. Preparation of legal documents, written reports, presentations and updates relevant to a global executive audience. Communication with parent company, outside contacts, including outside counsel, partner companies, industry representatives, governmental representatives, and other parties as needed. Collaboration with cross-functional international teams that support global enforcement activities on behalf of firm. Development and delivery of training to law enforcement and customs officials as well as internal stakeholders. Assisting with other IP tasks in support of Legal Department goals.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate must have 3+ years of related experience. Juris Doctor degree required. Ability to identify, develop and implement IP enforcement strategies is required. Strong communication and organizational skills, especially to a global audience is required. Must have knowledge of current legal issues in the area of intellectual property and digital enforcement. Exceptional writing, interpersonal and oral communication skills needed.
