Paralegal The candidate will be responsible for all US and International Trademark Searches, Docketing and Maintenance, as well as General Assistance to the General Counsel. Conduct preliminary US and International screening searches. Analyze screening and search results as well as draft reports for Marketing teams and General Counsel. Docket Trademark deadlines and handle Trademark maintenance. Prepare and electronically file US Trademark applications and other Trademark-Related documents. Instruct and liaise with Foreign Counsel. Assist Attorneys in Trademark proceedings and Litigation, and with review of Product, Marketing and other materials for proper Trademark use. Advise In-House Clients regarding Trademark matters. Assist General Counsel and outside law firm with Anti-Counterfeiting matters, including Online Brand Protection, Global Customs Registrations, Product Authentication, coordinating Attorney/Law Enforcement trainings, Foreign Counsel reports and other related activities. Must have Bachelor’s Degree in a related field. Should have 4+ years’ experience including Domestic and International Searching, Clearance, Trademark Filings, Prosecution and Docketing. Anti-Counterfeiting and In-House Corporate experience is preferred. Knowledge of and experience with Trademark Database Software, Microsoft Outlook and Word is needed.
