International Tax Senior Manager The candidate will advise clients of the tax implications relating to their business objectives, recommending alternate courses of action, as well as identify different methods of complying with tax regulations. Will be charged with marketing, networking and business development within area of experience and specialization and maintaining key client relationships. Bachelor’s degree is required. Accounting or other business related major, preferred. J.D., LL.M., and/or MST/MBT degree also preferred. CPA certification, attorney (admitted to practice in a US jurisdiction), or Internal Revenue Service Enrolled Agent (EA) (or the equivalent of one of these designations) is required. Must have 8+ years of prior experience in corporate tax, international tax or legal professional services. Experience in international tax required. Prior experience supervising tax professionals on a project or engagement basis is needed. Experience utilizing RIA, BNA, Lexis Nexis and/or Westlaw, preferred. Superior analytical and legal and tax research skills are essential. Advanced understanding of the technical and practical issues and opportunities regarding one or more areas of taxation and law is a must. Advanced knowledge and understanding of general calculations and cause / effect for taxable conditions on clients and the potential tax issues is required. Strong legal writing background and familiarity with the IRAC method of analysis a must.
