Law Firm Legal Assistant Duties: Sending letters of representation. Opening insurance claims. Confirming coverages. Requesting police reports. Clearing liability. Preparing DMV forms. Negotiating property damage claims. Coordinating medical treatment. Preparing demand letters. Interacting with adjusters and defense counsel. Negotiating bodily injury claims. Performing lien negotiations. Case management.

Qualification and Experience

Qualifications: Experience handling personal injury matters. Experience working as a legal assistant, paralegal, or case manager. Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook. Well organized and detail oriented. Reliable and punctual. Excellent customer service skills. Will be talking to clients on a daily basis. PREFERENCES: Bilingual English/Spanish. Knowledge of Abacus Law software.
