Duties:

• Represent clients in insurance defense litigation, encompassing pre-trial, trial, and appellate proceedings.
• Conduct thorough legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Efficiently manage a diverse caseload with a focus on insurance defense matters.
• Offer comprehensive legal advice and guidance on insurance claims, coverage issues, and liability.
• Negotiate settlements and participate in mediation or arbitration proceedings.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, insurers, and legal professionals.
• Ensure compliance with all pertinent legal standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure effective case management.
• Attend court hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings as required.
• Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations related to insurance defense.

Requirements:

• 2-7 years of experience in insurance defense litigation.
• Admission to the Delaware State Bar.
• Proven track record of handling insurance defense cases effectively.
• Strong understanding of insurance law and legal procedures.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
