Contract Management Document Officer II
The candidate prepares, reviews, negotiates, and executes agreements with a focus on Blocked Accounts. Whilst this role is predominantly centered on blocked accounts, some involvement with other agreements – Card, Treasury and Trade – may be required. Applies experience, industry standards and knowledge of account documentation and products, and Bank of America policies to address related credit, risk compliance, legal, operational and business issues. Facilitates communications among sales, implementation, product, operations, compliance, risk, credit officers, legal staff, and client managers to promptly resolve documentation issues. Capable of organizing and prioritizing a large number of competing, complex documentation assignments to meet customer needs. Advises and educates internal associates about documentation standards and options, policies and procedures.

Qualification and Experience

An Undergraduate/Graduate degree in Pre-Law or Business preferred. A Paralegal or technical training on contracts preferred. Should have broad knowledge of and comfort working with complex legal documentation (contracts). Must have excellent analytical, verbal and written communications skills and is comfortable representing the bank in communications with associates, clients and internal/external counsel at all levels of management. Should have negotiation skills - conducts negotiations effectively, balancing competing objectives to achieve optimal results. Must have strong project management and process skills, able to handle full workload with tight deadlines. Experience in Global Corporate Banking, preferably in a client contact role is desired. Knowledge of various companies legal structures (sole proprietorships, partnerships, limited partnerships, LLCs, corporations, trusts, etc.) is preferred. Knowledge of GTS business, products and services is desired.
