Duties:

  • Analyze the legal and factual background of pre-litigation disputes and litigation matters.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop a case strategy.
  • Prepare and finalize drafts of court and agency filings and responses.

Requirements:

  • 3-6 years of substantial experience in employment matters arising in corporate transactions.
  • 3+ years of substantial work experience in the employment aspects of private equity or mergers and acquisitions deals.
  • Experience in drafting and negotiating employment-related agreements, including employment agreements/offer letters, restrictive covenant agreements, and separation agreements.
  • Handling employment dispute matters and/or employment investigations.
  • Excellent academic credentials.
  • Admission to practice in the state of Illinois or eligibility to obtain admission promptly in the state.
