ProfileTrademark and Copyright Attorney The candidate will be part of the Trademarks and Copyrights team and will contribute to the company’s global trademark and copyright portfolio and practice, including conducting U.S. and international trademark clearance, prosecution, conflicts and licensing work in-house, providing counseling to internal clients regarding trademark, copyright and domain name issues, and reviewing and preparing trademark licenses and related agreements. Will be responsible for conducting this work in-house, so direct experience doing U.S. and international trademark clearance, prosecution and counseling is required.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have strong academic credentials. Must have J.D. degree from an accredited university and admission to a State Bar. Must have 1-5 years of in-depth law firm and/or in-house trademark experience, including U.S. and international clearance, prosecution, enforcement, oppositions, cancellations, and disputes experience, as well as trademark licensing experience. Copyright, domain name, and internet issues experience preferred. Trademark and copyright due diligence and transactional experience preferred. Communication skills (both verbal and written) are critical.
