Associate – part-time (20-25 hours a week) Growing statewide Workers’ Compensation Law Firm is seeing a motivated attorney with 1-3 years of experience who has passed the Massachusetts Bar. The attorney will need to attend proceedings before the Department of Industrial Accidents throughout Massachusetts. The attorney will be trained in workers’ compensation and does not need any knowledge in this area. Some proceedings will be in the morning and may require travel to Fall River, Lawrence, Springfield, Boston or Worcester for a 9:00 a.m. appearance. The associate will need reliable transportation and be required to work in the Worcester office. The associate will be expected to be punctual, professional and capable of preforming under deadlines and maintaining a assigned cases and workload. The attorney need not speak a foreign language, but Spanish speaking individuals may get additional consideration. The attorney must be fluent in MS Word and familiar with Outlook, Excel and other similar office software. RLO will provide an office, computer, e-mail access, parking in Worcester and hourly pay. No health insurance is offered. References will be requested, proof of Massachusetts licensure (BBO/attorney and driver’s) and a writing sample.
