Temporary Legal Assistant Duties: Preparation of correspondence, pleadings and discovery; Obtaining medical records, including tracking and follow up; Deposition coordination; Client communication; Calendaring; Transcription; Trial, arbitration, and mediation preparation; and Other attorney support as necessary.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: 3+ years as a legal assistant in the medical malpractice field (plaintiff preferred); Bilingual – Spanish; Knowledge of California civil procedure; Knowledge of Word Perfect and MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Our ideal candidate will also have: Attention to detail and excellent organization skills Positive attitude. Be professional and be able to work in office environment with clients present as well as interacting with clients (English and Spanish). Be able to take direction as well as work independently.
