A law firm seeks a qualified Associate Attorney to join its Newport Beach, CA office, focusing on real estate and creditors' rights. This role is ideal for an attorney who is eager to make a meaningful impact while working in a collaborative environment dedicated to community engagement and client success.

Duties:

• Handle a substantial caseload related to creditors' rights, ensuring timely and effective representation of clients.
• Draft and prepare various legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Engage in discovery practices and conduct depositions, effectively managing conflict resolution.
• Represent clients in court and advocate for their interests in various legal matters.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop strategic approaches that enhance the firm’s reputation.
• Cultivate relationships within the legal community to build trust and credibility with clients and colleagues.
• Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations, including TILA, RESPA, FDCPA, and the Bankruptcy Code, to provide informed legal guidance.

Requirements:

• Must be an active member in good standing with the Missouri State Bar and able to obtain licensure in the Missouri federal district and bankruptcy courts quickly.
• Preference for candidates with 5+ years of litigation experience; newly licensed attorneys are encouraged to apply.
• Familiarity with the Missouri legal system and a strong commitment to delivering exceptional client service.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in the Missouri State Bar is required.
• Additional Bar licenses are advantageous.
